If I wasn’t so tall, these would probably be 5 stars.
I ordered the Albury and the Betsy. I was hesitant to get these because at 6’2, I usually get my jeans in 35-37” inseam, especially because the majority of my height is my legs. Plus, I’m curvy, so my butt tends to use up quite a bit of fabric.
However, I saw another reviewer say they were my height and that they worked, so I figured I’d give it a shot. If nothing else, I figured I would know quickly if they worked and could return them easily because I’m a Prime member.
The Albury fit really comfortably in my normal size and were just long enough to be passable. They would have been better as a skinny Jean because then it would have tapered in at the ankle and the length would have looked more intentional/fashionable. As a bootcut, the flare hits at a point that I almost don’t like (past the ankle, but I can still feel the breeze), but works decently enough to keep them.
I won’t be keeping the Betsy style. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a darker wash, but the Betsy fit tighter in the same size. It could be that same stiffness that causes the length to miss the mark. A few centimeters makes all the difference because the flare on the Betsy hits too high and brings these to high water territory. I’m not terribly sad about not keeping them because I also didn’t pay attention to the fact that the Betsy had gems on the back pocket, which is not my jam.
